Appalachian Ramp & Wild Herb Set
$25-50Food & Beverage
Dried Appalachian ramps (wild leeks), ramp salt, and a collection of wild-harvested mountain herbs — morel, ramp powder, and spicebush berries.
The Story
Ramps (Allium tricoccum) are the wild leeks of the Appalachians, and the ramp festival is a spring ritual across WV. The pungent bulbs are fried with eggs and potatoes or pickled — a taste of mountain spring.
